APPLICATION INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES 2016
The Hope Over Jessamine Fall Fest appreciates your interest in bringing your finely crafted handiwork to our festival’s visitors. All applications will be reviewed by a committee.
Individual artists, or craft or art nonprofit groups, school art clubs, or groups whose mission is related to crafts or art are considered prospective vendors, as well as book authors. This includes book authors whose material is appropriate to our family friendly event.
This is a straight fee only opportunity. $100 per 10 x 10 ft booth space, limit 2 spaces. Payment is not required with application. Vendors will be sent payment information upon acceptance.
Hallmarks of quality such as originality, craftsmanship, design, material selection, and appropriateness is our criteria. This makes visual evidence of your craft(s) mandatory. Failure to attach or include photos and/or website presentation means your application will be rejected. Please don’t overlook this not only very important but necessary component of the application process. If interested in demonstrating your craft, please contact email@example.com after submitting your application.
Although Festival management reserves the right to accept other types of exhibits or vendors, preference will be given to applicants with finished goods or products that exhibit original designs and creations. Sale of live animals or plants is prohibited. Signage announcing “Closeout, etc” are prohibited.
Resale vendors such as MaryKay, LulaRoe, Matilda Jane, etc are allowed but will be exclusive to one space per each business.
The Festival is a service project of the CCC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are not responsible for nor do we collect sales tax. It is your responsibility to comply with state sales tax law.
This festival is an outdoor event. All vendors must be under a tent because weather is a factor. All spaces are 10’ x 10’. All vendors must provide their own tent, tables, shelving, chairs, and signs. Vendors must erect their own tent (you’ll be notified of set up times.) If your tent is larger than 10′ x 10′ you must rent two spaces. The area around the booth space must be kept free of litter.
Selling or swapping your space is not allowed. Permits are sent ONLY to the person/address on the application on record. Each vendor is entitled to one parking permit. If yours is an organization, only one representative will receive parking permits. Parking permits and other information, as well as your booth space will be available upon arrival on the day of the event.
